Fantastic apartment, excellent location!
Review by: Lynne M. on 27.02.2013

We had a fantastic stay in Apartment Anna. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay in Dubrovnik including air con, fridge and beautiful garden terrace. It is a five minute walk from the Pile gate (main entrance to the old town) and set in a quiet pedestrian area directly behind the HIlton Hotel. Everything in Dubrovnik is within 15 minutes walking distance from the apartment, including a small local gem of a beach (pebbles) with gorgeously clear water. This is much better (and much closer!) than Banje beach at the other side of the old town and many of the locals go here too. Owner was lovely and met us at the Hilton when we arrived (bus from airport drops you right at Pile gate!). Beware though, the walk from Pile to the apartment has quite a few steps and with heavy luggage its a tough climb. Take it slowly though and its worth it when you reach the top! Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. I couldn't fault it. Hopefully we will be back one day! Thanks!

Hello Lidia A big thank you to you and your parents for a lovely stay in Dubrovnik at BonBon We really enjoyed the apartment - it was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and perfectly located to make the most of the amazing Old Town.
I will definately recommend it to family and friends. Thanks again Katy

Tere apartment
Review by: Penelope V on 22.08.2012

We booked Tere apartment very close to our date of travel and really appreciated how quick and responsive Lidia was over email. She arranged transport for us to the apartment from the airport, which made our arrival into Dubrovnik so easy. Lidia met us (with fruit and a bottle of champagne... very sweet touch) to check into the apartment. For the next four days we felt right at home, with a peaceful private little apartment, complete with washing machine (clothes dried extremely quickly on the terrace, thanks to the sunshine and summer heat!), kitchen equipped for cooking meals in, and lovely garden view from the living room. We were pleased with the apartment, especially the lovely rooftop terrace, which was a fantastic spot to take in views of the city, enjoy a meal, and catch some sun. Geographically, the apartment is perfectly situated for visitors to Dubrovnik. It's a convenient and pleasant walk no matter where in town you want to go. You can get to old town, beaches, the harbor, shops, grocery store. It's great. I would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a pleasant holiday in Dubrovnik..

Amica House
Review by: Dominikus Herzberg on 13.08.2012

It is a luxury apartment with a great terrace and a great view on Zaton bay -- a lovely place. There is a wonderful beach nearby (3-4 minutes down the stairs) and there is a taxi boat in the morning to Dubrovnik, which is a highlight to go with. Our host, was a very nice and kind person.

Great place to stay
Review by: Stephanie Cooper on 10.08.2012

The beautiful view from the terrace made the 78 step climb worthwhile. Travel light if you can to visit this area as there are huge flights of steps up and down everywhere around Dubrovnik. The apartment Ankora was very well and simply equipped. Tomi checked everything was ok for us daily, and was very helpful and entertaining about the local area and history. the cooker has just 2 hobs so if you want to cook it needs to be simple, plenty of equipment though. A couple of wine glasses would have been a bonus. Air conditioning and wifi were both provided free. The beaches are varied, some rocky some pebbly. Art cafe nearby does great cocktails. Less than 5 minutes walk to the old town and port. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider going again or using LS Adriatic services. Sorry we missed saying goodbye Tomi as our taxi arrived early.

A Great Stay in Dubrovnik thanks to LS Adriatic!
Review by: Sylvia de Martino on 24.07.2012

We had a perfect stay in Dubrovnik! For 8 nights we stayed at Ankora, a modern apartment with a shared, large porch and a great view, and close to everything, and the last 4 nights we enjoyed staying at Capitan, deep in the Old City--a charming, romantic apartment that has been beautifully renovated. Both apartments, although very different, were both very clean, and their owners lived nearby, which made it easy to ask for help if needed. Lidia was great in helping me select these apartments based on our requirements, as we engaged in emailing back and forth after I found LS Adriatic online. She was also very helpful with some local information I needed. LS Adriatic also offers excursions, so you can enjoy one-stop shopping with them. We highly recommend working with LS Adriatic, and thanks again, Lidia!

Solei apartment
Review by: Martin Hauge on 17.07.2012

This year we chosed the apartment Solei. A little bit longer distance from the Old Town (5 min) and the beach than Ragusa/Mediterian (as we hired last year). The advantage was the view from the balcony and more space. The history of the 120 years old house is interesting. The hosts were friendly and helpful, they have really managed to keep the old style combined with nice comfort. We really recommend this apartment to families and people who appreciate nice breakfasts and dinners with view over the sea and Old Town.

WE LOVE YOU!!!! Thanks!

"Perfect"
Review by: Anais on 18.06.2012
A friend and I stayed at BonBon apartment for a week and found that it lived up to all our expectations. The location is perfect, so close to both the Old Town and Banje beach. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and their airport transfer is reliable. The flat is exactly as it is in the pictures, clean, modern and airy. The terrace also provides a peaceful little haven with a glimpse of the sea in the background. Would definitely come back here, worth every penny! Thanks Lidia!

“Dubrovnik's best secret!”
Review by: Smithtown, New York on 01.05.2012

Myself and my mom visited Croatia for two weeks and this restaurant Gusta me had some of the best food.... and the BEST service by far. The staff was so welcoming and courteous, we visited the restaurant numerous times during our visit. The food was wonderful, from the traditional appetizers (octypus salad, etc.) to the exquisite desserts (fresh fruit platter was awesome). Most important? Even when we visited and only ordered a glass of wine so that we could check our internet (our villa had no wireless) the staff was courteous and polite, this is a rare experience in many tourist destinations! Do visit this restaurant- it is so very good.

Warm Croatian hosts & an authentic experience at Gradac
Review by: Autumn, Oregon on 22.04.2012

Absolutely wonderful place park Gradac. The hosts are far above hospitable and kind. We were even served fish soup and given any help we needed. They were right there. Good Internet. Absolutely perfect location, just out of the city walls in a garden with birds singing and palm trees. Felt like we were guests in the home of friends. Loved our experience and would recommend this place with confidence.

Sea food paradise...
Review by: Turku, Finland on 28.01.2012

Been travelling lots of times along the Croatian coast, but I just can't pass Mali Ston without having a meal in Kapetanova kuca. It's not the cheapest on the coast, but absolutely the best. This is no tourist trap as it's a bit off the beaten track. It's a very Croatian place owned by a local family who also runs the stylish and charming hotel next to the restarant. The service is excellent - mainly men dressed in black - and the sea food is always fresh. The bay by Mali Ston is known for the "mussle farms" which makes this place a sea food and sea shell's heaven. The meny is extensive and the food always start with toast and fish pate served on a sea shell plate. If you are a sea food fanatic, you can also ask to have a look in their fish well that is situated in the sea just across the plaza in front of the restaurant. You can then tell them exactly how you want your choise of fish or scampi prepared. What I often chose is a sea food plate for two and a black risotto and maybe a sea food spagetti. This is enough for a family of 5. The sea food plate is loaded with 2-3 different kinds of fish, mussels, scampi and octopus. Mali Ston is situated in one of the best wine regions of Croatia, so even the house wine served in 1 or 0,5 liter jug is just great. The sweet macaroni cake is a speciality of the house, but it's quite heavy, so one piece is enough for two.

bonbon beautiful!
Review by: Celine on 14.12.2011

Thank you Lidia, for a wonderful stay in your beautiful BonBon apartment. It was modern, clean, just perfect. The kitchen was so much fun to use, we had everything we needed I was able to make the most fantastic meals. The house was warm comfortable and just what we needed for our holiday in Dubrovnik. Thank you so much.

"Ankora perfect base for exploring Dubrovnik"
Review by: Naomi G on 27.09.2011

This is a really lovely self-catering. The photos and other reviews are very accurate, there were no surprises at all when we got there. The Ankora apartment is spacious and very well kept, and had all the amenities you would want (wi-fi, air conditioning, a television, a safe for your valuables, a drying rack, extra blankets should you need one - it also now has a corkscrew, as we left ours there by accident!). It was very comfortable and the terrace is great. It is in close quarters with the studio apartment next door (terrace is shared) but we had lovely neighbours during our stay. The location is just excellent, just a 5 minute walk away from Old Town and Pile Gate. The owner was very accomodating, easy to deal with and discreet - she was readily available to help if need be, but left you to get in touch rather than stopping by, which we wouldn't necessarily have welcomed. Everything was very straightforward - for example, the wi-fi was easy to connect to and the airport transfer was easily arranged. I was travelling with my mother and we both really liked the apartment. It's very good value in an otherwise expensive city.

“Lovely little apartment, a stones throw from the Old Town”
Review by: Kate, Stayed June 2011, traveled as a couple on 16.09.2011

We have just returned from our stay at the Ankora apartments. We were pleased to find that the Old Town is a 2 minute walk straight down the hill to the Old Town, where you soon reach the pedestrianised area. The apartment was secure, with all the amenities we needed, with a compact bathroom and walkthrough bedroom-come-living room to a kitchenette. We found the apartment very clean, the kitchen was well supplied and there was ample fresh bedding and towels.
The apartment was also provided with wifi which we found very helpful. I would recommend this apartment for young couples or small families for a short stay in Dubrovnik, with the appeal of proximity to the old town without the price tag. There was also a nice beach about 15 minutes up the road.

Thanks Lidia for a great stay.

Wonderful stay in Villa Amica, Stikovica
Review by: on 04.09.2011

We spent a wonderful 10days in Villa Amica in Stikovica in August 2011. We rented the whole house and we were 5 adults and one baby. My parents stayed in the open space apartment on the first floor while my wife, my daughter, my sister and myself stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. The ground floor apartment is smaller than the first floor apartment, but with two separate bedrooms it worked very well for us. We had all necessary equipment in the house and we really enjoyed being there. We were nicely welcomed and could phone the landlady if we needed something. The house is very nice and clean. The view from the house is amazing. We used both terraces a lot, the terrace on the first flour mainly during daily hours and the huge terrace on the top of the house for the dinner. Stikovica is a very small village, it is very quiet there. The local beach is just a 2 minute walk away from the house which is a huge plus. The beach is very nice, with two restaurants right on it. We were at the beach every morning and it was not crowded at all in those hours. During the afternoon we either went down for a short swim in the sea or went to some other beaches farther away from Dubrovnik. I would recommend a beach called Veliki Zali, approximately 15 minutes away from Stikovica in the direction from Dubrovnik. It has the best water I have ever seen in Croatia, lot of different fishes and aquarium blue water. It also has a really nice restaurant and it is far away from any residences. A car is a must for any kind of vacation outside the city of Dubrovnik, especially if you have small kids. Just few minutes away from Stikovicaby car, in the nearby village,Mali Zaton, there is a small food store. You can also take a walk around the whole Zaton Bay in late afternoon hours, it was really nice to walk around there. For what we got, we were really pleased with the price. It was very good value for the money and we would strongly recommend our friends to visit both Stikovica and Villa Amica in the future.

Fantastico!
Review by: France on 27.08.2011

I wanted to write a comment regarding the wonderful hospitality that we received by leasing the beautiful apt in Dubrovnik park Gradac. Staying there was one of the highlights of our trip. The accommodations were homey and comfortable and a good location from which to set out on sightseeing walks.
Your husband made us feel at home when we arrived. Helpful information was also lovely. We really enjoyed the Mimosa restaurant that was recommended. Thanks again for arranging the reservations for us.
Our vacation to Croatia was one of the highlights of my life. We just loved the sights, the scenery, the art, the people and of course the food and wine. We look forward to returning one day! Thanks again, and we will be happy to recommend your apt. to friends who will be traveling your way.

Superb location, all the essentials at Park Gradac
Review by: Verena on 13.07.2011

A charming apartment with air conditioning and two good-sized double bedrooms. Although it doesn't have a lounge area there is a kitchen table, a TV in one of the bedrooms, and plenty of outdoor patio space (shared). Its location is excellent: close to the old town (a few minutes walk down the road, which also has convenience stores), a rocky cove also a few minutes walk behind the apartment, and just on the outskirts enough to have some peace.

The apartment is accessed via a little lane, which overlooks the garden of a beautiful old monastery. Would definitely stay here again if we were ever lucky enough to return to this beautiful city.

Excellent stay in apartment park Gradac
Review by: Raimo B on 09.07.2011

We spend the last week of June in apartment park Gradac. The place is excellent. All the modern conveniences in a nice old style building. The location could not be better. Beach and old town are very near. All places are in the walking distance but the environment is very peaceful in the edge of a park.

Delicious BonBon
Review by: JohannaSpain on 06.07.2011

Bonbon is the right name for this studio, because it's a delicious small piece of design. Very new, very clean, peacefull and quiet.

Just forty steps up you'll find the busstop, a supermarket and Biker's Café known by all the taxidrivers - very handy indeed. Hunderdfifty steps down and you are on the beach and at the gate of the old town.

This is a place that we really recommend.

Dubrovnik Apt. Pazo

The Pazo location is excellent!!!! right at the entrance to the old city, literally a 2 minute walk to the gate, and close to all the food, shops and nightlife. Very close to the beach as well. Apt was clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an apt. close to the old city.

Exceeded expectations at Ankora!
Review by: Tasha, Ottawa, Canada on 14.06.2011

This Ankora place is even better in person than in the pictures. The apartment we got was tastefully decorated and clean. We had the choice of 2 since the one next door wasn't booked, and we had a hard time deciding which one we wanted. Price and location could not be beat! Only a 3 minute walk to the old town, and about a 1 minute walk to an amazing little bar called "Art Cafe", where the seats are old claw foot bathtubs sawed in half.
The view is to die for - exactly like the pictures show.
My 25 year old friend and I found it just perfect for the two of us on a girls trip. In fact, our expectations were exceeded.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I will definitely be back! The only thing is that there are a few stairs and you can't get there directly by car (which you don't want in Dubrovnik anyways, since parking is expensive), so not ideal for people with disabilities.

Perfect stay, location. Thank you.

Where to stay in Dubrovnik
Review by: Michael, Portland on 29.05.2011

I've never stayed anywhere else in Dubrovnik but with one of LS Adriatic's apartments, so I don't really have anything there to compare with. But since I've enjoyed both of their apartments that I've stayed in so far, there's been zero incentive to try anywhere else.
And I know I never will. I stayed in Medi the first time I visited Dubrovnik, and the view there is spectacular. I stayed in Ankora2 this time. The view is not as spectacular, but it's easier to get to. So you have your choice!
Both apartments were very nice, and the people you deal with are more than very nice. They are simply the best.

The apartment includes all comforts bedrooms, large living room, kitchenette,  bathroom, balcony with panoramic view and outdoor furniture, TV sat, washing machine, independent garden, and an parking. We sleep at the ground floor bedrooms and children have a lot off fun at the open space of first foor apartment as large space for them.

Beach is  pelbess with crystal clean sea, just 2 min walk so you can go from swim and back to house, and Zaton is great and safe place for walks with numerous restaurant and good food. Also you can find sport activities there.

Great place to rent with children and with car. Thank you so much Lidia for your help when booking this apartment, your recommendations were fantastic. We will most certainly be recommending this apartment to our friends and family. To anybody looking for an apartment to stay in with large family, do not hesitate in booking this one!

Highly recommended - Really, a spectacular place
Review by: Mira on 11.04.2011

The listing and the apartment were identical, very clean and cheerful. Location was perfect for us as we found ourselves in the middle of life in Dubrovnik and far from City noice as apartment is at the park.
The apartment is decorated with class, there are room for 3+2 guests in the apartment. I highly recommend this rental where you will find comfortable beds, working air conditioner, lots of towels and you can ask for more if you need.Everything we needed was nearby and at our disposal.
Owners are offering airport transfer services and excursions, and also thay offer us other 2 beds apartment at the same area, apartment Ankora where our friend stay, and they also loved apartment.

This was my fourth visit to Dubrovnik and my best apartment rental.

"Large apartment very close to Old Town"
Review by: amy.mcgregor on 17.12.2010

Three of us stayed in apartment park Gradac for 3 nights in September. The most relevant thing about it is that it is an excellent location and the owners were very friendly. The flat is comfortable, we didn't use the kitchen but it was a good size. It was more expensive than we wanted as budget travellers but good value for money in the expensive city of Dubrovnik.

"Kod Marka"
Review by: Zeljko Erak on 02.07.2010

It was the end of the summer of 2007, a time when my colleagues and I were facing a big business and personal challenge; making the first Dubrovnik restaurant guide we named Where to eat, which was to include best Dubrovnik restaurants to help visitors make their decision about where to dine while visiting. We were determined to print a quality brochure, the success of which depended greatly on numerous gastro strolls through most of the regional venues. I was “stuck” with the island of Šipan, the largest of the Elaphite islands. My task was to find the best restaurant on the island and negotiate business cooperation. All the sources I had pointed to the same direction – Kod Marka. Though small and secretive, it was discovered by gourmands as a trump card for special occasions.

Upon my arrival I noticed the first promising sign; on the shore just in front of the restaurant there was a person cleaning fish in the sea and throwing the remains to numerous crabs that were gathering to feast on the intestines of the freshly caught fish. This person was the owner`s son, another positive detail about this restaurant; it is a family run business.

Marko, the owner, was already busy preparing the fire for the grill which made me fear that there would not be enough time for the presentation of our project, at least not for such a broad one as I had prepared. But my fear disappeared after the first few minutes of our conversation since it became clear that Marko had done his homework and asked around to see what our brochure was about. Soon enough he brought to my table, completely unexpectedly on my part, a delicious meal that he had grilled just moments before. This was a very touching gesture; such effort and courtesy cannot be paid enough. I expected a busy restaurant owner and 5 minutes of his time, instead I received a nice conversation, and a delicious three course meal that was on the menu that day accompanied by a locally made Merlot with a beautiful bouquet.

Dubrovnik apartment Mediteran
Review by: Irvin on 12.06.2010

Stayed there on 22 May. We were booked on Azzura, but they put us on Jadrolinja, so ferry arrived earlier than anticipated, however owner was kind enough to meet at this unscheduled time. Showed us into the apartment and helped us to organise the 3 day pass for the cheap parking garage which is just up the hill beyond the Hilton. Apt is located in a former convent and in the far corner in front of the garden. Can be a bit noisy if there are groups about, on one night a group of girls kept singing late into the night. But is summer time. Close to the old city and has adequate supplies. Bed is comfortable. Would have been great if deposit could have been paid by paypal or credit card and though it did not create a problem for us, I am sure others would have been put off from booking due to this.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Tomi was extremely nice and helpful the entire time, offering us advice on which beaches to travel to, and any other information that we needed. The apartment has a double bed, and another single bed, a nice kitchen with a table, and a small TV with satellite. The best part is the terrace just outside with a great view of the sea and the edge of old town. Perfect location only 3 minutes walking to Pile Gate. You should stay here!

Dubrovnik apartment Mediteran
Review by: Andrew Webster on 23.09.2009

We stayed in Mediteran in September 2009. The apartment was ideally located - just 2 minutes walk to the Old Town and extremely central. There is also a small private beach nearby it which was a lovely bonus and a nice, quiet, secluded courtyard. The owners were so friendly and helpful and there was more than enough towels, linen etc. The apartment itself was very clean and ample room for 3 or 4 people with two nice bedrooms. The pick up was fantastic and the driver was friendly and professional. The location of the apartment could not have been better.

Highly recommend for your stay in Dubrovnik!

Great apartment, light, airy and spacious. Clean and modern. Nice terrace with a view. All arrangements proceeded smoothly, easy to find etc. In a great spot within easy walking distance of the old town- close enough to be able to come and go easily, but far enough not to be bothered by the late night party-goers. Had 3 nights here, could easily have stayed longer.

Dubrovnik apartment Pazo
Review by: Carol Kelsey on 28.04.2009

The apartment was perfectly located, right at the gate to the entrance of the Old City and no stairs. It was very nice with all the amenities of a 3 star apartment. It was super clean and the landlady was terrific. I would stay there again in a New York second.

This is a great apartment. It is quiet, clean, spacey and not  expensive. It's located just around the corner of the old city, but in  a very quiet area. Also just a few minute walking distance from the  park and sea. Nice view of the city. Mr Nicola and wife are very  friendly and helpful. Best deal in Dubrovnik I think. Be back next year hopefully

A very good option, authentic stay. If you don't need a hotel, and want to experience things in a more local sense, there are a range of apartments that should work well. Most are close to the Old Town, which is great. This also means most are located along the hills which require a lot of steps to access, but it feels like you are one of the locals.

  • Liked — authentic feel, price is reasonable
  • I recommend this hotel for: Young singles, A romantic getaway, Girlfriend getaway, Families with young children, Families with teenagers, Tourists
  • I do not recommend this hotel for: An amazing honeymoon, People with disabilities, Older travelers, Pet owners

We enjoyed our stay in Croatia very much! Still we remember the beautiful nature and hot weather. Your apartment favorable location near the swimming place was very welcome. Thank you very much for being by the time we arrived at airport. The Mediteran apartment we rented was good enough, existing equipment adequate and again thank you very much for being so helpful and friendly to us. We wish you all the best and success in your business!
